What is 'Paranormal' activity, and how do you investigate it? The answer to these two questions is what the week is all about.

You will have access to the years of knowledge and experience of those already working in this field, who will endeavour to help you discover the answers to these questions. We will also be taking a look at how mediumship is used in these investigations, and how a medium works alongside the Paranormal Investigators as part of the team.

You will learn how to:

• Investigate people
• Investigate locations
• Set up your own paranormal society

You will learn about:

• Ghosts
• Spirits
• Hauntings
• Orbs
• Remote Viewing
• E.V.P (electronic voice phenomena)
• Dowsing

In our endeavour to achieve the above please bring with you any of the following items of equipment, if you have them:

• Torch
• Compass
• Tape recorder and tape
• Digital camera (including PC connecting cable)
• Night vision equipment
• Note book and pen

During the course we will be setting up experiments at known haunted locations, learning how to monitor and record data. We will also learn how to differentiate between true phenomena, imagination and normal activity. Some of the rooms at Stansted have a 'reputation' for phenomena. We will be setting up night-time vigils to try to record what has been reported over the many years as 'unusual activity'.

If you are seriously interested in what does and does not 'go bump in the night' then this is the course for you. This course is not suitable for the casual enquirer.
