Beryl
has been a Spiritualist since 1964, having served on platforms both in
England and abroad since 1967. She commenced work for the Spiritualists'
National Union at Church level in administration in 1965. Her first visit
to the Arthur Findlay College as a student was in 1981.
In 1984 Beryl became Class B Members’ Representative on the East Midlands District Council and held every position on the D.C. (except that of Treasurer) and is still Elective Auditor on that body. In 2000 she resigned from the District work In 2002 she was elected to serve on the Council of the SNU, as National Class B Members’ Representative, later becoming Chairman of Training and Awards – thereby becoming a member of the NEC - in 2004.
