JENNIFER JONES

Jennifer Jones teaches sound and voice work, and sound healing in which she trained with the School of Sacred Sound. She is also a professional jazz singer, medium, healer, aromatherapist and astrologer. She has long been aware of the power of sound, and has been channelling healing sounds for over ten years.

Jennifer comes from a family of spiritually gifted people. Her grandmother read palms, and she had one uncle who was a medium and astrologer, and another who was a healer. It was an area of interest in the family, and she grew up interested in all spiritual matters. She didn’t become aware of her own abilities until she started studying astrology and tarot in her early 20s, which led her onto her spiritual pathway. In her early 30s, during a period of much ill-health, she discovered that she was also a medium and healer, and started developing her mediumship at the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain and the Arthur Findlay College. She has now been working professionally and internationally as a medium for over 15 years.

The family was not only gifted spiritually but also musically, and in her childhood, singing for her was as normal as breathing! Jennifer first sang solo in public at the age of 14 – Moon River by Henry Mancini – with her brother accompanying her on piano. Brought up on classical music and songs from the musicals, she had been classically trained in piano from the age of seven. Later she discovered jazz and her interest in that genre grew in her late teens. Jennifer’s singing, however, took a back seat until her early 30s, but when she found her voice again, found that she was increasingly being asked to sing in public. Since then she has become a jazz singer, and has performed in various venues including the prestigious Stables near Milton Keynes, run by Cleo Laine and John Dankworth.

Jennifer has brought together her mediumship and her knowledge of sound and singing to teach others how to discover the true potential of the voice and bring the power of sound into their lives. She trained with sound teachers Chris and Jenny James, and has since been teaching others how to discover and unleash their natural voice. She believes that the power of sound in our lives can be truly transformational – as well as a lot of fun!
