Course 1a 2024

(19 Jan - 21 Jan 2024)

Presentation and Demonstration

Course Level – Beginners (to platform work but not to Mediumship generally)

This course is for those that have been working with their Mediumship in a 1-2-1 situation but are now feeling ready to take the next step into Platform Demonstrating or have just started and feeling they need more practice. It’s a big and brave move to go from an intimate setting to a public arena and although it’s a natural progression of our work it’s still a scary place to envisage ourselves being in, and yet we want to take it despite the nerves we feel.

If you want to take that next step or have just started demonstrating but want more guidance and practice, then this course is perfect for you.

Demonstrations are the showcase of your Mediumship and where we can make the biggest difference and impact on our congregation/audience. Your presence and professionalism are what’s needed each time you stand up to represent the spirit world, as well as good evidence. So those first steps leave you having a lot to consider in addition to your mediumship. One message can touch so many people, so we will be aiming to help you work in bringing that person alive again so that everyone feels the power of their presence regardless of whether it’s their message or not. Looking at different ways to place your contacts, along with keeping the audience engaged and interested throughout the duration of your work is also something that we will help you with.

Helping you recognise your own presence through this process is also something that will have focus within the course along with:

  • Remaining in the power with the communicator and deepening your evidence to tell their story
  • Stage presence and delivery, whilst managing your nerves
  • Manage an audience and adapting to your working space/environment
  • Handling difficult situations and difficult recipients
  • Working with more than one communicator

This weekend will be full of support, growth and learning with tutors who have a wealth of experience in Public Demonstrating that they are more than willing to share with you.

If you are just about to take, or have just taken those first steps, then this is the course for you.
