Exploring the Trance Altered State

With Tim Smith DSNU (HAT) ASNU & Guest Tutor

Trance mediumship is the natural progression of all mediums as they develop their relationship with their Spirit Guides and friends. This week can allow that relationship to grow and evolve.

As one develops one’s attunement to the Spirit world, over time the ability to alter your state of being to a deeper one becomes available. Usually this is called the ‘Trance’ state. To achieve this deeper attunement, one has to develop techniques to allow greater access to your physical being by those you work with in Spirit. The result is a closer attunement to each other’s frequency and more efficacious mediumship.

Trance mediumship take many forms and this week will explore, the two most common mental trance mediumships, in use in this 21st century, Trance Healing, and Trance Speaking.

During the week there will be a chance to expand one’s attunement through exercises and techniques to reach the altered state required to be called ‘Trance Mediumship’.

Understand the guidelines and rules, regarding Trance within the Spiritualist National Union, and build the knowledge to become a Trance Medium.

Of course, this takes some time, to master the trance state and will not be achieved by a week at the Arthur Findlay College, it can however, allow you to gain the confidence in yourself, in growing your ability to reach this altered state and understand the trust you will need between yourself and your Spirit companion.

The Arthur Findlay College is the ideal protected space to explore your abilities, alongside experienced Tutors and a unique Spirit energy built up over half a century of Spiritual endeavor.
