A message from the College General Manager
Dear Everyone,
We realise that for many of you there are some concerns when it comes to staying at the College but rest assured our main objective is to ensure that you can ‘Visit with Confidence’ and with this in mind I invite you to read all about the preparations and procedures that the Arthur Findlay College team have implemented.
The staff have seen many changes and are doing their upmost to keep you safe and adapt to the situation themselves. Please have patience, these changes have been forced upon us all. It is different for them too but necessary to keep you all safe.
We continue to monitor the state of COVID-19 in the UK and we are ready and prepared to re-implement any requirements made by the government should it be necessary in the future.

Students are no longer required to provide us with a lateral flow test or a PCR test to enter the College.
If a student shows symptoms whilst at the college, they will be asked to self isolate, and take a Lateral Flow Test. (provided by the College). We have robust procedures to isolate, support, and manage a student if they discover they have Covid-19.
Face Masks
Face masks are now OPTIONAL.
Feel free to wear a mask in our college if you wish to do so and please remain mindful of others around you but it is no longer mandatory.
If the covid-19 infections rise again in the UK this may change and we will let you know in advance of your stay.
We have followed the UK Government Covid-19 guidelines and met the high standards required to be accredited by the UK Government as well as carrying out our own risk assessments and introducing new policies to further protect you and our team.
We have trained our staff to maintain vigilant cleanliness and put in place measures to aid social distancing for a safe environment.
We have taken the best advice to ensure everything is in place for a visit that will be as safe as it will be comfortable and enjoyable.
We know that you are as excited as we are to welcome you back to the Arthur Findlay College, even if it looks a little different these days. We also understand that our students’ expectations for cleaning and disinfection have changed. That is why the College has implemented new safety protocols and cleaning regimes to deliver an even cleaner stay for our students.
Our promise to you is to deliver the same level of reliable and friendly service you would expect from the College, but with the added confidence of industry-leading hygiene practices and eco-friendly Covid-19 safe chemicals created to keep you safe.
The health and safety of our College community is our main concern.
Please do not travel to the College if you have Covid-19, even if you have a booking, if you feel in any way unwell stay at home.
Hand sanitiser is available for use at strategic points in public areas.
Special cleaning and sanitisation of public areas and touch surfaces will take place by staff.
If taken ill at the College, you should return to your room, self-isolate and contact College management. TEL: 01279813636. If it is necessary for you to return home, any balance of your booking will be refunded.
The College has lateral flow tests so we can quickly determine if you have Covid-19.
Cash is now accepted across all departments.
Cash can also be given for donations at Spiritualist Healing and Divine Services.
Credit-card terminals are available throughout the college for your convenience. We will accept Visa credit and debit cards and Mastercard. We do not accept Diners or American Express.
The cash machine has been removed from the College, nor is there a cash back facility. If you require cash for onward journeys, please ensure you make alternative arrangements in good time.
Check-in time is from 3pm and check-out time is by 10.00 am.
Your bedroom will have been carefully cleaned and sanitised.
Non-essential amenities such as cushions and throws, have been removed from the room.
Please return room keys to the key box at Reception.
Maximum 2 people in the lift at any one time please.
Promotional material will be available to download from our website. If you require a course leaflet, you can download them from our website or ask the reception team who will email you a copy.
Bedrooms will be serviced On Wednesdays only during your stay; housekeeping staff will be focused on maintaining cleanliness of all public areas and shared bathroom and toilet facilities but if you require a room service, please let our team know by contacting reception.
College staff are not permitted to enter a guest bedroom whilst the bedroom is occupied by you. If your room requires attention or maintenance, please let the reception team know that you are not in your bedroom. Respectfully we ask that if a staff member is in your bedroom carrying our essential maintenance, you allow them to leave your room before you enter.
Showers, baths and toilets will be more frequently cleaned and fully sanitised repeatedly throughout the day. In addition, each bathroom and shower room will also have disinfectant chemicals for you to use.
All bedrooms have private sinks for your convenience.
Please sanitise your hands with the sanitiser provided at the entrance.
Meals will be served to you from the servery as normal.
Hot and cold beverages are available for you to help yourself.
Tables and chairs and all other surfaces will be thoroughly sanitised after each meal sitting and close of bar service.
All workrooms are thoroughly deep cleaned and sanitised at the end of each working day.
Hand sanitisers are available in all workrooms.
Cleaning will also take place during scheduled breaks.
All private sitting rooms are thoroughly deep cleaned and sanitised at the end of each working day.

Will not attend work if unwell.
Will wash and sanitise hands frequently.
Suppliers and contractors will not enter building unless agreed.
Our team have new “no contact” protocols – including handshakes and hugs.
Healing and Public Services are now open to the public.
Please can we remind you not to enter the College if you show Covid symptoms and ,not knowingly, have been in contact with anybody suffering with Covid.
Spiritual Healing can be offered to the public by absent healing. The Stansted Healers can offer absent healing to anyone who asks. Please email requests for Spiritualist Healing at healing@arthurfindlaycollege.org
