Volunteer’s Week at Stansted Hall was filled with energy, kindness and a real sense of community. Our volunteers came together, working alongside our Maintenance Manager & team to refresh several parts of the building, bringing new colour and warmth to spaces that welcome so many people each day.
From the Bar area, Dance floor area, Pioneer suite, corridors and Britton House, every brushstroke and update has helped create a more inviting place for visitors and students. Their dedication has left a lasting mark, and we are truly grateful for the time and heart they gave.
The impact of their work extends beyond the physical changes; it has fostered a sense of belonging and pride among everyone who steps through our doors. Each carefully chosen colour and thoughtfully placed decoration adds layers of history and warmth, enriching the stories that Stansted Hall holds.
As we walk through the newly refreshed corridors and rooms, we are reminded of the community spirit that fuelled these transformations. It is this spirit that keeps Stansted Hall alive, ensuring it remains a beacon of spiritualism, community and heritage.
Our Maintenance Manager, Vince, said:
“I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the time, effort, and skill you dedicated to helping with the decorating work at the college. Your support in painting, preparing the walls, and transforming the spaces has made a tremendous difference.
Thanks to your hard work, the college now looks brighter, fresher, for students, staff, and visitors. The quality of your work and your willingness to help —has not gone unnoticed.
We are truly grateful for your teamwork, patience, and commitment throughout the project. Your contribution has helped create an environment we can all be proud of.
Thank you once again for everything you have done. We deeply appreciate your dedication and hope to work with you again in the future.”
We look forward to welcoming our students back this Friday 16th January when we re-open our doors for the start of our 2026 program and for them to witness the joy and inspiration our volunteers’ hard work brought.
With heartfelt appreciation, thank you once again to all volunteers for everything you have done to make Stansted Hall a place of beauty and connection. Your efforts continue to brighten Stansted Hall in more ways than one.
