Wendy is a Spiritualist medium and tutor from Scotland, and became an Officiant of the Spiritualists’ National Union in 2022.
She has always had an awareness of Spirit, and could sense and feel them at an early age. However, it was not until her early twenties that Wendy began to explore the connection with Spirit further, leading her to the path she is on today.
Wendy has been involved in Spiritualism since the mid-1990s, and trained extensively at the world-renowned Arthur Findlay College, Stansted.
In 2013 she was one of the first recipients of the Gordon Higginson Memorial Scholarship by the Spiritualists’ National Union. The scholarship was a turning point for her, when Wendy began to focus more on my education, and the potential to learn and grow within her development and understanding.
Over the years, she has come to realise that the power of love is the true connection that unites the two worlds. Wendy is passionate about demonstrating mediumship at public services and in one-to-one private sittings, because it can create an opportunity for healing. She also has a passion for philosophy and enjoy public speaking. Her aim is always to work with compassion, and sincerity.
Wendy is a Diploma holder of the Spiritualists’ National Union in demonstrating and teaching, and a certificate holder in speaking, demonstrating, and teaching. She became a tutor of the Arthur Findlay College in 2024 and a course organiser in 2025.
Her passion is teaching and she enjoys helping students to feel empowered through in person courses or zoom workshops and classes. Her aim is always to encourage students to reach their full potential, by helping them to build confidence and self-belief. Wendy enjoys working with students at all levels of awareness, whether they are learning to trust their own intuition, or exploring the potential of their spiritual connection.
Her work with Spirit has taught her that mediumship creates the opportunity to reunite the two worlds through the power of love. She has found comfort in the knowledge that love is the foundation of life, and creates beautiful memories which define our treasured moments. This awareness can motivate us to explore the connection we have to our loved ones in Spirit.
Wendy believes that being a Spiritualist is a way of life. For her, Spiritualism is her religion, and has brought a life changing awareness and knowledge that life continues beyond our physical life, albeit in a new form. When we have been touched by the power of Spirit, we have the wonderful opportunity to know the true essence of love.
Each communication with our loved ones in Spirit, has the potential to bring comfort, hope, and healing, so all opportunities to work with spirit are done with a genuine desire to be of service.
In her spare time, Wendy enjoys walking in nature and photography. She is often inspired to write readings by the beauty of nature and incorporates her photographs with spiritual writings.
