This unique, Grade 2 historic building was built in 1870 and hosts many treasures and items rescued from the former Stansted Hall located in the grounds in 1638. The College looks forward to sharing the history with you during your visit.
The History of the Stansted Hall Estate dates back to the doomsday books of 1066. More recently back in 1791, the Estate grounds were designed by Humphrey Repton.
Much of the original garden planting designs can still be seen today and offers 36 acres of peaceful parkland seclusion.
The magnificent period meeting rooms, mostly all with views of the surrounding grounds, showcase the finest craftsmanship featuring paintings and furniture that belonged to the Findlay Family. The long gallery’s beautiful ornate hand crafted ceiling is a breath-taking example of Italian plasterer’s workmanship taking 3 years to complete
