Irene was born into a mediumistic family on both the paternal and maternal sides of the family, a family who hailed from the Western Isles of Scotland. She was born on the outskirts of Glasgow and was aware of spirit from an early age.
Her interest and enthusiasm was increased after a few dramatic experiences with the Spirit world. She visited the Arthur Findlay Collage and was inspired by tutors there increasing her thirst for more knowledge and understanding.
She has dedicated her life to the Spirit world, is passionate about education, realising the importance of the individual needs of each student, encouraging them in discovering and developing their latent mediumistic abilities, build confidence, pushing their boundaries.
She demonstrates and teaches both within and out with the Spiritualist movement.
” I believe that education is the seed that eradicates fear and ignorance, exposing and promoting the ‘knowing’ that life truly is eternal and that Spiritualism is not only a religion but a religion based on scientific fact that promotes a wonderful philosophy positively and profoundly changing peoples lives.”
Irene is also involved in a great deal of charity work and utilises her work as a medium in contributing to help raise funds for people less fortunate. Believing in the Brotherhood of Man, she considers it her duty to enlighten all nations of the truth of Spiritualism; its history, its religion as seen within the philosophy and scientific fact.
From 2003 she has worked around the globe with this aim in mind and within this work says that she is afforded the opportunity to help in both spiritual and material ways, continually raising funds for those less fortunate, especially for Africa. She is passionate about this and feels privileged and honoured to be doing this work for Spirit.
